2005 Masterclasses:
During the Glasgow festival 2005 Heer Productions ran the following two highly successful masterclasses:
Directors' Workshops: Making of a Film: The Journey
This workshop covered aspects of making a film or television drama / documentary from a director ' s perspective. It was facilitated by experienced director Kenny Glenaan from Scotland and acclaimed director / producer and actor Samina Peerzada from Pakistan.
Rhetoric and Narrative - Fact and Fiction
Engaging an audience, building suspense and sustaining pace in Documentary and Fictional Film using rhetoric and character-driven narrative techniques.
This one day workshop involved seminars, screenings and the workshopping of participants' projects by directors from Pakistani. It was hosted by David Griffith, writer, producer and screenwriting tutor for the Writers Factory and the University of Strathclyde Lifelong Learning.
